Sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the report was both presented and deliberated upon. While the panel’s specific recommendations remain undisclosed, officials within the J&K government acknowledged that reducing reservations in any category would be a challenging move—yet necessary to provide relief to general category candidates. “The Cabinet is examining the procedure to rationalize the existing reservation system,” the sources added.
